Very good experience having our wedding luncheon at The Riverhouse. The look and feel of the place fit what we were looking for: an oriental, historical yet with a touch of modern feel. The food was amazing. Our guests loved it very much and they commented that certain dishes had the homecooked standard. Our favourite dishes were the crispy barramundi, soup, and the prawns. Our coordinator, Celest, was very helpful and assisted us every step of the way. She would advise on our needs and make arrangements based on our schedule for the day. The collaboration with the vendor, Sonderbyco, made the whole experience seamless. They helped us with the decorations, door gifts, menu placards etc. This helped us save a lot of time from not having to go and source for these ourselves.

We hosted our wedding dinner at the Riverhouse and our whole experience even up to the actual day has been amazing. Eileen patiently and clearly answered all our queries while we were torn between venues, lunch or dinner reception. Joeyun has been very approachable and helpful, answering all our enquiries and has been on top of coordinating everything even rushing down after another venues. The food was amazing and our feedback from the food tasting was taken into consideration! Guests praised on how amazing the food has been as well as the intimate setting of the place.even though there was a slight unforeseen delay in the tea ceremony, Joeyun has been really stellar, helping to extend the courtyard usage to cover our tea ceremony, and helping to move the items between level 1&2. I highly recommend Joeyun and 1-host to others looking for a varied intimate venue for events, and hope for Joeyun to receive her due recognition.

We have spaces ideal for intimate weddings, accommodating 50 to 250 guests. Whether it’s a seated banquet or a cocktail reception, we’re able to host your solemnization, lunch or dinner, and after-party, all in one beautiful location.
Guests may park at Clarke Quay Shopping Centre. Valet services are also available upon request at an additional charge.
The venue is equipped with a bridal changing room, sound system, projector, screen, and lift access, supported by a dedicated wedding coordinator and on-site events team on the day.
Yes. An indoor contingency plan is always arranged for outdoor solemnizations, ensuring your event proceeds without disruption regardless of the weather.
Standard packages include 4 hours of event time. Additional hours for early setup or an after-party can be added upon request.
Lunch events end at 2pm and dinner events at 10.30pm. Extensions for dinner may be accommodated, do reach out to discuss your requirements.

We recommend reaching out early, as weekends and peak dates fill up fast. Our team will check availability for you and can hold a tentative date while you finalise your plans.
Décor is welcome as long as it does not cause damage to the venue. For items such as candles or hanging decorations, we ask that you check with us beforehand so we can advise on any safety guidelines.
External vendors are welcome. We also have a list of trusted partners who are familiar with the space, should you need recommendations.

Our packages are flexible, catering to intimate solemnizations through to full celebrations of up to 400 guests. A minimum spend applies, and our wedding specialists will advise on the exact amount based on your preferred date and time.
Most couples book 9 to 18 months ahead, especially for weekend dinners. That said, last-minute bookings are also accommodated subject to availability.
Yes. A dedicated wedding specialist will be assigned two months before your wedding day to guide you through the final planning stages and ensure everything runs smoothly.
It’s perfectly normal for guest counts to change. Our team will advise you on the minimum guaranteed number and work with you on any adjustments as your wedding date nears.
Food & Beverages
Yes, our chefs are able to prepare vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary meals with advance notice. While our kitchen is not halal-certified, halal meals can be arranged through our trusted partners upon request.
Yes, once your package is confirmed, we offer a menu tasting session so you can sample our dishes before making your final selections.
Policies & Logistics
To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit is required upfront, with the outstanding balance settled on your wedding day. If your plans change, we will do our best to accommodate a new date. Cancellation policies will be clearly outlined in your contract.
