The Riverhouse Website Terms of Service

Welcome to the website of The Riverhouse, owned and operated by Hr Millennium Pte Ltd (UEN: 201623286G) (collectively referred to as “the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing, browsing, or using this website (www.theriverhouse.sg) and any related digital sub-domains, booking systems, or online services (collectively, the “Platform”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please immediately cease using this Platform.

1. Corporate Identity and Venue Information

The Platform serves as the digital portal for The Riverhouse, located at 3A River Valley Road, #01-02 Clarke Quay, Singapore 179020. All services, bookings, digital products, and physical operations managed through this site are legally governed under Hr Millennium Pte Ltd.

2. Permitted Use of the Platform

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as viewing menus, managing restaurant reservations, submitting private event inquiries, or interacting with our nightlife and entertainment updates.

You explicitly agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
  • Disrupt, damage, or compromise the security, integrity, or functional operation of the Platform, its hosting servers, or connected networks.
  • Utilize automated scripts, scraping tools, bots, or spiders to harvest data from the Platform without our explicit written consent.
  • Impersonate any individual or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity when submitting online forms or reservations.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All proprietary material featured on this Platform, including text, graphics, source code, logos, editorial copy, site design, layouts, button icons, photographic images, digital assets, and promotional media, is the exclusive property of Hr Millennium Pte Ltd or its authorized content providers.

This content is shielded by Singapore and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Nothing contained on this Platform shall be construed as granting any license or right to copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or display our intellectual property without prior explicit written authorization from us.

4. Reservations and Booking Policies

When booking a table or reserving space for dining, nightlife, or special promotions at The Riverhouse through our integrated booking systems, you agree to the following framework:

  • Accuracy of Data: You must provide valid, updated, and accurate personal information, including your full name, contact number, and email address.
  • Seating Variations: All table allocations remain at the sole discretion of our venue management team. Special seating requests are noted but are subject to capacity, operational parameters, and configuration shifts.
  • Grace Periods and Cancellations: Reservations are held for a limited grace period (typically 15 minutes) past the scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in the forfeiture of your table. Certain peak holiday dates, special chef menus, or large group bookings may require a valid credit card authorization or non-refundable deposit to secure the slot.

5. Private Events, Weddings, and Corporate Bookings

Inquiries submitted via our event contact forms do not constitute a confirmed contractual booking. Private parties, wedding banquets, corporate venue buyouts, and specialized functions are subject to custom commercial contracts. Those contracts outline detailed minimum spends, staggered payment structures, strict cancellation milestones, specific force majeure protections, and custom logistics waivers which override general website terms.

6. House Rules, Ticketing, and Admission (Nightlife & Events)

For entry into specific entertainment zones, nightlife spaces, ticketed events, or themed parties hosted within The Riverhouse premises:

  • Age and Identification Restrictions: Guests must meet the minimum legal age requirements dictated by the venue or the specific event. Valid legal photo identification (such as an NRIC, digital Singpass, or international passport) must be presented upon request by security personnel.
  • Dress Code: Guests must adhere to the venue’s designated dress codes (e.g., smart casual). Management reserves the absolute right to refuse entry to anyone inappropriately dressed.
  • Right of Admission Refusal: Management and security personnel maintain absolute discretion to refuse entry or evict any individual displaying rowdy, intoxicated, unruly, unsafe, or non-compliant behavior, without a refund for any tickets or deposits paid.

7. Gift Cards, E-Vouchers, and Digital Purchases

Any gift cards, promotional vouchers, or event tickets purchased through our digital channels are subject to the following standard operating policies:

  • Non-Refundable Status: Digital certificates, event admissions, and vouchers are non-exchangeable for physical cash and are strictly non-refundable once the purchase transaction is executed.
  • Validity Dates: All e-vouchers feature explicit expiration parameters. Unused balances or vouchers not redeemed before the specified expiry cutoff will be permanently forfeited without notice, compensation, or extension options.
  • Resale Prohibition: Vouchers and promotional event passes are intended for personal or direct gifting purposes and are strictly prohibited from being commercialized or resold via third-party marketplace forums.

8. Third-Party Links and Integrations

Our Platform seamlessly integrates external software and hyperlinks managed by third parties (such as payment processing providers, email distribution systems, and global restaurant reservation interfaces). We provide these connections solely for your convenience. We do not endorse, supervise, or assume legal liability for the content, precise functionality, or transactional privacy protocols of external third-party digital environments.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all information, menus, services, and structural content provided herein are delivered on an “as is” and “as available” operational basis. Hr Millennium Pte Ltd explicitly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the web services will run uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or devoid of digital viruses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Hr Millennium Pte Ltd, its directors, officers, corporate employees, venue managers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data usage, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your direct use of, or inability to safely navigate, the Platform.
  • Unauthorized access, alterations, or interceptions of your digital data transmissions.
  • Statements, updates, actions, or conduct of any third party hosted on our digital interface.

11. Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hr Millennium Pte Ltd, its parent entities, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all third-party claims, legal liabilities, operational damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including all legal defense fees on a full indemnity basis) arising from or tied to your misuse of this Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any statutory regulations or third-party rights.

12. Variations and Updates

We reserve the absolute right to review, modify, rewrite, or update any section of these Terms and Conditions at our sole discretion, at any time, without prior individual notice. Any modifications take effect immediately upon being posted on this Platform. Your continued use of our web systems following the publishing of revisions establishes your binding acceptance of the updated legal framework.

13. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any precise provision within these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason legally unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that specific provision shall be deemed severable from the remainder of the document and shall not affect the validity and structural enforceability of any remaining provisions.

14. Governing Law and Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, alongside any disputes, interactions, or structural claims arising out of or in connection with this Platform, shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively before the courts of Singapore.
